Kaplan Landau Attorneys - Alfred M. Marks, Counsel
Alfred M. Marks is former Trademark Counsel for CBS, Inc., where he
was responsible for trademark matters throughout the world in connection
with the many trademarks of CBS, including CBS Masterworks® and
Columbia®, as well as the marks of the publishing, toy, television, radio,
and other divisions of the company. Before he was Trademark Counsel,
Mr. Marks was part of the Contract and Rights area of the Law
Department and worked on many commercial matters in the area of
acquisition, supervisory litigation, and reviewing labor agreements and
advertising agency matters. Previously, Mr. Marks also worked for Harold
Orenstein, Esq. on copyrights, Davis & Gilbert LLP on advertising and
intellectual property matters, and for 10 years with Brumbaugh Graves
Donohue & Raymond. Mr. Marks is currently counsel to a number of
companies on their trademark needs in the fields of restaurants, clothing,
men's and women's accessories, and others.
